Carl Bate - Consultant
Carl joined Rix & Kay in 2008, following 8 years as a partner at a rival regional firm, where he was Head of Commercial Property. Before that, his career had taken him from the City to the Environment Agency, and he currently acts on behalf of clients drawn widely from local authorities, utility companies, retailers, developers and investors. His particular expertise is in regeneration and major project work, including compulsory purchase, planning and environmental aspects of the same.
Away from the office, Carl is a keen sailor, an aspirational golfer and a fair-weather scuba diver
